Biography
RAVI NARAYAN
I am an actor, dancer and stuntman with experience in a variety of roles. My career highlights to date was performing as a scale/stunt double for Aidan Turner in The Hobbit Trilogy: An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and Battle of the Five Armies (2014), directed by Sir Peter Jackson. I played a Hero Dark Elf in Krampus (2015) directed by Michael Dougherty. I played Stuffur in Kiwi Christmas (2017). During the shooting of "The Unexpected Journey" I was chosen by Peter and his Team to play a Stunt Goblin who fought Gollum in his cave.Some of my other works includes working on Yogi Bear where I was a driver. Some TV series that I have been on are: Shortland Street, Power Rangers and Sir Edmund Hillary. I have also had an acting role in the Webseries AFK where I played the character Maybel. I have also been featured on TV commercials for Georgie Pie, SRS Clinic and Hyundai.When not acting I perform as a dancer. I have appeared on live TV as a contestant for ‘New Zealand’s Got Talent’ and made it successfully to the semi-finals. I am also a stunt performer with a martial arts back ground
